A very rare Turbo R 400, from the private collection of Sir Anthony Joliffe.

This is a very rare car indeed, one of only 6 commissioned by Weybridge and Mead, the first one being sold to Sir Elton John, this car being the last one made.

The car has covered 50,000 miles with prior maintenance recorded at 256, 1555, 4882, 6413, 10829, 14461, 19081, 19993, 23346, 26075, 30307, 34397, 37129, 38342, 41026 and 45970 miles, all servicing having been carried out by Bentley or marque specialists. The car drives very well, just as you would expect with such comprehensive maintenance history and features the engine management system from the Continental R delivering very responsive performance indeed. The car will of course pass through our workshop upon sale for your complete peace of mind.

Based upon the long wheelbase Turbo R chassis, the car features many enhancements including the 400bhp engine management system from the Continental R, flared wheelarches, inceased rear track, quicker steering rack, larger 18 inch alloy wheels, wing vents, sports steering wheel, uprated front seats with increased side support, adjustable rear seats, heated rear seats, chrome instrument bezels, turbo boost gauge, push button starter, chrome plated radiator shell, large bore exhaust, Turbo R400 badging and Turbo R400 embossed leather upholstery and finished with a commemorative engraved plaque on the dashboard.

Finished in red pearl mica with sandstone hide, this is a very eye catching car indeed and really stands out from the crowd. The photographs, taken on a dull morning, do not do the car justice.

Specification of the period to include split level climate control, electric seats front and rear, original stereo with CD player, remote central locking, electric steering column adjustment, electric windows front and rear, electric mirrors, heated mirrors, headlamp washers, 18 inch alloy wheels etc.
