1988 Bentley Eight, show winning car, absolutely stunning An utterly stunning example which has covered just 53,000 miles and was with the previous owner for 25 years, the car won "best unrestored car" in the recent Tatton Park show and is featured in the October RREC magazine. This car must be seen to be fully appreciated. The car has an excellent service history, the service book detailing prior maintenance at 2210, 4555, 13499, 20629, 22627, 28197, 35302, 39848, 42795, 45222, 47219, 47933, 50707 and 52560 miles. Recent work to include complete braking system overhaul including new seals, rebuilt calipers, new pads all round, brake pipes and unions, new front road springs, full service including all fluids and filters, spark plugs and 4 new Avon tyres, in total over £4,000 has been spent. The car was garaged for some time due to the owner's passing and was then fully recommissioned befure being put back into regular use. The car drives flawlessly, just as you would expect with such comprehensive service records and such a low mileage and must easily rank among the very best available. Together with the vehicle we have an A4 binder containing a selection of service invoices, MOT history from VOSA and full build and test history from the factory. On
the road the car performs flawlessly with everything working just as it
should, including the air conditioning which is ice cold. This is
clearly a car that has wanted for nothing and really stands out from
the crowd. Finished in vermilion with parchment hide piped red with cherry red carpets which are protected by the original lamsbwool over-rugs, all presenting in truly excellent condition and the car virtually unmarked throughout. The 15 inch alloy wheels are unmarked and wearing the correct Avon Turbospeed narrow band whitewall tyres which were fitted in August 2023. All in all the car presents exceptionally well and it is easy to see how it won the show. Specification of the period to include ice cold air conditioning working correctly, original Blaupunkt Bremen stereo working well, electric seats, electric windows front and rear, electric mirrors, central locking, 15 inch alloy wheels with new Avon Turbospeed tyres all round. Supplied with several keys, original book pack, stamped service books etc. A superb show winning
example in a striking and vibrant colour scheme, it will be difficult to find better. The car will be supplied with a new MOT with no advisory notices. Viewing
