stunning low mileage example which only became available through
by an elderly local gentleman from the original owner in 1988 and upon his
passing in 1992 ownership was transferred to the gentleman's widow. The
lady never used the car but couldn't bring herself to sell it as it
was her husbands pride and joy. Since then the car was collected every
year by a local garage and taken for an MOT and service with instructions
to do "whatever was needed" and then put back into the families garage.
The old lady sadly passed quite recently and we were contacted by the
surviving daughter, who was in her 60's, and asked to find a new owner for

covered 44,710 miles in 1989 and still has not reached 45,000 ! We also
have the purchase invoice when the gentleman bought the car for the sum of
£21,000 in August 1988, quite a sum back then.
collected the car it's engine Oil was spotlessly clean, as if the Oil had
been changed that same day. The battery earth lead was disconnected to
prevent the battery going flat and once this was re-attached the car fired
immediately and quickly settled into a perfectly smooth idle. The car
drove beautifully back to our premises and clearly demonstrated how well
the car has been maintained, despite very little use. We have since had a
full braking system overhaul and full annual service carried out by marque
specialists Bowling Ryan in readiness for re-sale, total expenditure
exceeding £3,500. The bodywork and
interior are in exceptional order and everything appears to be totally
in stunning Walnut, a gorgeous colour very representative of the period
and complemented with Magnolia hide and dark brown carpets which are
protected by dark brown lambswool over rugs, the rear compartment further
equipped with footstools and vanity mirrors.
