1981 'X' Jaguar XJ-S V12 HE Auto, from an extensive collection of historic Jaguars

This is a simply beautiful car in superb condition throughout, easily amongst the very best available.

The car has covered just 33,000 miles with the original Jaguar service book detailing prior maintenance at 1897, 5636, 8216, 16956, 16975, 17682, 19530, 19698, 19875, 22222, 27123 and 30259 miles. In addition to the stamped service book we have an A4 binder containing a collection of invoices detailing work carried out together with old MOT's etc. The car was last serviced by a renowned Jaguar specialist with no regard to expense, the owner instructing the garage to do whatever is necessary.

Supplied new to Alderney, Channel Islands the car came into the UK in 2010 with 30,000 miles covered and has had only 1 UK owner prior to being added to the current owner's collection of around 30 historic and classic Jaguar motor cars. Our client owns a large PLC with a turnover in excess of £30m per annum, his Jaguar collection is housed within a purpose built structure and maintained continuously by his own mechanic with no regard to expense, in fact far more work has been carried out on this car than is detailed in the service history. Our client likes his cars to be as original as possible, just as they left the factory and kept in "turn key" condition at all times, despite each car being seldom driven. This particular car has not seen regular use since 2021 but due to the program of continuous maintenance described above the car drives beautifully, as can be seen in our videos on YouTube and Facebook. On the road the car is absolutely wonderful, performing exactly as it should, silent, smooth and effortlessly powerful with a cossetting ride and with everything working correctly. The air conditioning has been overhauled and is very effective. None of these cars ever come out in the rain so this car suffers none of the corrosion issues which can plague these models.
