1981 'X' Jaguar XJ-S V12 HE Auto, from an extensive collection of historic Jaguars

This is a simply beautiful car in superb condition throughout which would be a fabulous addition to any collection.

The car has covered just 33,000 miles with the original Jaguar service book detailing prior maintenance at 1897, 5636, 8216, 16956, 16975, 17682, 19530, 19698, 19875, 22222, 27123 and 30259 miles. In addition to the stamped service book we have an A4 binder containing a collection of invoices detailing work carried out together with old MOT's etc. The car has recently been thoroughly serviced by a renowned Jaguar specialist with no regard to expense, the owner instructing the garage to do whatever is necessary.

The owner is a most meticulous Jaguar collector and enthusiast who insists on having his cars mechanically and cosmetically perfect and this car is testament to his obsessive attention to detail, there will not be a better example.

Supplied new to Alderney, Channel Islands the car came into the UK in 2010 with 30,000 miles covered and has had only 1 UK owner prior to being added to the current owner's extensive collection of historic and classic Jaguar cars. Always dry stored and never been out in the rain, the gentleman has his own mechanic who tends his vehicles keeping everything just as it ought to be. This is a very early HE model, registered in October 1981. 

Finished in beautiful sapphire blue metallic with biscuit leather upholstery, matching carpets and light veneers, all in superb condition throughout. The entire car presents exceptionally well, you would struggle to fault this car even under the closest possible inspection, it is very easily among the best available. On the road the car drives flawlessly performing exactly as it should, silent, smooth and effortlessly powerful and with everything working correctly. The air conditioning has recently been overhauled and is very effective.
