1996 'N' Bentley Turbo R, low ownership car with just 40,000 miles, outstanding example

This is a superb low mileage example in outstanding condition throughout.

 The car has covered just 40,000 miles with an excellent service history, prior services being recorded at 817, 4798, 7986, 12469, 14725, 15856, 18358, 20815, 23332, 24753, 26234, 27901, 29159, 31499, 32814, 36090 and 37678 miles. A major service was carried out in June 2021 at 39998 miles. The car will of course pass through our workshops upon sale to bring the service records completely up to date. In addition to the fully stamped service book we have full MOT history from VOSA together with the full build and test history from the factory and original factory order form in the amount of £122,316.25 after 12% discount ! The car drives flawlessly, just as you would imagine with such low mileage and comprehensive maintenance history.

Originally ordered by Sir James Blyth, chairman of Boots PLC, the car was actually delivered to a Mr George Stew of George Stew Ltd. The car was retained by Mr Stew until his passing in 2010, initially in his company name and later in his own name. Upon his passing title transferred to Mr Stew's daughter who's husband was an engineer with McLaren. Always garaged and used only on sunny Sundays the car covered just 3,000 miles in 11 years but was serviced and presented for MOT annually by the ladies husband with receipts for parts in the service records - the car has passed it's MOT every year with no advisory notices since 2007. In 2021 the lady finally decided to part with Dad's car and it was bought by a gentleman who has been a regular customer of ours for the last 10 or 12 years. Luckily for us the gentleman always calls us first when he wants to sell a car on, he is most fastidious and many of our best cars have come from him, this Turbo R is a prime example with barely a blemish to be found inside or out, even the alloy wheels are unmarked.

Finished in Diamond Blue Silver with Silverstone hide with Shale carpets protected by lambswool over rugs, the rear compartment furnished with picnic tables and vanity mirrors, all in first class order throughout and conveying a fabulous sense of occasion to all occupants. The car was originally ordered with carpet over mats rather than lambswool, these have never been used and are in the boot. We also have the original sound system demonstration CD supplied with the car when new.

Specification of the period to include split level climate control air conditioning, electric seats, two stage heated seats, cruise control, original Alpine stereo with CD player, parking sensors front and rear, remote central locking, alarm, immobiliser, electric steering column adjustment, easy entry/exit feature, electric windows front and rear, electric mirrors, heated mirrors, headlamp washers, flying B bonnet mascot, 17 inch alloy wheels which are fitted with matching Avon Turbospeed tyres all round, all with plenty of tread. The vehicle is also fitted with "smart nav" voice activated navigation system but we are not certain this will still work as it was a subscription system operated by Traffic Master.

Supplied with all 4 original keys, 3 remote locking keyfobs, original book pack containing owners manuals, stamped service books, factory build history etc.

A beautiful motor car in a very desirable colour scheme with low mileage and excellent supporting history. Cars like this do not come to market often.
