1997 'R' Bentley Turbo RT, 1 of 252 made, excellent history

A very rare and striking motor car in a most attractive colour scheme with Bentley specialist service history.

The car haas covered just 50,000 miles with prior servicing recorded at 1371, 6555, 9294, 11732, 14453, 15491, 23967, 31747, 39469, 39892, 43327, 45202, 48892 and 50071 miles, all servicing having been carried out at Bentley or respected marque specialists. In addition to the stamped service book we have a collection of invoices detailing work carried out.  The notorious head gaskets were done at P&A Wood and should give no further trouble. Used sparingly in recent years, the advertised price includes a detailed inspection and full "recommission" at an independent specialist workshop upon sale, bringing the service records right up to date.

Behind the wheel the car performs exactly as it should as you can see from our videos on YouTube and Facebook, with taught body control, direct steering, excellent throttle response and of course, plenty of power ! This is a highly sought RT model which were the last and most expensive variant of the Turbo R and featured the 400 bhp engine found in the Continental T, only 252 of this model were produced.

Finished in very striking Royal blue which is possibly the best colour on these cars, turning heads wherever it goes. The interior is trimmed in parchment hide which is in excellent order, the rear compartment equipped with foot stools and vanity mirrors and and full set of blue lambswool over rugs is included, the entire car presenting exceptionally well.

Specification of the period to include split level climate control air conditioning, electric seats, heated seats, remote central locking, alarm, immobiliser, electric windows front and rear, period stereo working well, electric mirrors, headlamps washers, 17 inch RT alloys with correct Avon Turbospeed tyres all round, all with good tread.
