A good example which has covered 72,000 miles with a very comprehensive service history which we are pleased to offer for sale on behalf of the owner who has a good collection of classic cars and is a previous customer of ours.

The service records demonstrate prior maintenance at 2462, 6116, 12756, 17328, 24874, 29957, 36906, 41788, 49714, 56958, 60247, service with mileage not entered, 69573 and 70661 miles. The car was last serviced in April 2018 by P+A Woods and has covered just 1,500 miles since. The car will of course pass through our workshops upon sale, bringing the service records up to date. In addition to the stamped service book we have an A4 binder containing a large collection of invoices detailing work carried out together with old MOT's, tax discs etc.

Looking through the service history, the car was serviced at 70661 miles in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018 so it would appear the odometer was stuck which is a common issue with Silver Shadows and Corniches of this era. The owner assures us the car was very rarely used so the displayed mileage will only be a few hundred miles out at most.

Finished in Seychelles blue with black everflex roof and beige hide, the car presents well and drives beautifully, the engine quiet and responsive, the steering free from excessive free play and everything appearing to work as it should including the air conditioning, just as you would expect with such a comprehensive maintenance history. The Corniche has always been our favourite model, such a stunning car with beautiful styling and we feel this particular car should offer a great deal of enjoyment whilst remaining an excellent investment at this very sensible price.
